NFL PLAYOFFS BAD BEATS BLOG: Chiefs, Bucs cover; Super Bowl set

Super Bowl berths are on the line in today’s NFL conference championship games.

First, quarterback Tom Brady will try to earn his 10th trip to the Super Bowl when his Buccaneers take on the Packers in Green Bay. Then, the defending champion Chiefs will try to get back to the big game when they host the Bills.

7:30 p.m.: That’s it for today. Favorites went 1-1 against the spread, with the Buccaneers scoring the +160 outright upset in a 31-26 win over the Packers. The Chiefs covered as 3-point favorites in a 38-24 victory over the Bills. Both games went over the total.
