Silver Knights’ arena in Henderson gets name
The Silver Knights’ future Henderson arena will be called the Dollar Loan Center, the team announced Tuesday.
The 6,000-seat venue at the site of the former Henderson Pavilion, which is expected to open for the 2022-23 season, also will be the home of the Southern Nevada Sports Hall of Fame.
The Silver Knights are playing in Orleans Arena while the arena is being built.
“The Dollar Loan Center is designed as a world-class multipurpose venue that will not only be the home of the Henderson Silver Knights and the Southern Nevada Hall of Fame, it will also host a variety of events and programming that will create memorable, positive experiences for our fans and their families,” Golden Knights majority owner Bill Foley said in a statement.
