NFR held its annual Exceptional Rodeo event, where special-needs children got to practice their roping and riding skills.
“Anything that involves children, I’m in,” Iowa cowboy Tim O’Connell said. “And there’s not a whole lot of things that I won’t do to help promote the sport of rodeo.”
“This is my give-back to God, family and the Western way of life,” said new Miss Rodeo America Kennadee Riggs, a Queen Creek, Ariz., resident.
