BYU defeats UNLV with three-run HR in 10th
J.T. Musso hit a three-run homer with two outs in the 10th inning to power Brigham Young to a 10-7 Mountain West Conference victory over UNLV on Thursday night at Wilson Stadium.
Adam Moser (4-2) gave up the home run for the Rebels (12-14, 4-3 MWC).
BYU (13-16, 4-3) scored four runs in the eighth inning to tie the score 7-7.
Xavier Scruggs went 2-for-5 with a homer and three RBIs and J.J. Sferra and Bryan Resnick each had two hits for UNLV.
The three-game series will resume at 6:30 p.m. today.
