Four Rebels make all-region soccer first team
UNLV’s Salvador Bernal, Kyle Mellies, Rodrigo Fuentes and Ryan Harding were named to the first-team National Soccer Coaches Association of America All-West Region squad.
The Rebels finished the season 14-5-3 and advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 1988. They won the Western Athletic Conference regular-season and tournament championships and were nationally ranked — at No. 23 in Soccer America in September — for the first time since 1992.
