UNLV came back from a 5-1 deficit to beat Arizona State 7-6 on Wednesday, completing a game that was suspended Tuesday night because of a power failure. The Sun Devils are the highest-ranked team the Rebels have beaten since defeating No. 3 Cal State Fullerton 8-6 in 2003.

I was fortunate to have some good at-bats last few weeks and I tied an NCAA record for reaching base safely in 18 consecutive plate appearances. I also broke UNLV’s record for consecutive hits with 10. It is an honor to reach those milestones but I would trade those individual accolades for a couple of team wins.
