UNLV doubles teams advance in Mountain Regionals
Two UNLV doubles teams moved to the round of 16 in the USTA/ITA Division I Mountain Regional Championships at the Fertitta Tennis Complex.
Nives Pavlovic and Lucia Batta beat Denver’s Emma Isberg and Mandy Van Den Eerenbeemt 8-2, and Aleksandra Josifoska and Iren Kotseva strolled past Montana State’s Ellie Crum and Paulina Lopez 8-0.
UNLV’s Janine Erasmus and Alexis Garrett lost to Idaho’s Victoria Lozano and Almudena Sanz 8-6.
Two rounds of singles will be played today, weather permitting.
