UNLV pitcher gets Mountain West honors

UNLV’s Kenny Oakley was named the Mountain West pitcher of the week.

Oakley, a junior from Coronado High in Henderson, threw a complete-game shutout against UNR on Saturday. He allowed just four hits and struck out 11. The Rebels beat the Wolf Pack, 1-0, to stop a four-game losing streak.
