UNLV swim teams notch wins at Cal State Bakersfield
The UNLV women’s swimming and diving team beat Fresno State 168-126 and Cal State Bakersfield 188-96 in a double-dual meet Saturday at Bakersfield, Calif., and the No. 23 UNLV men’s team beat Cal State Bakersfield, 169.5-128.5.
The UNLV women were led by Jessica Heim, who won the 500- and 1,000-yard freestyle, and the 200 butterfly. Giacomo Gremizzi (200 breaststroke, 400 individual medley) and Balint Batka (200 backstroke, 200 butterfly) had two wins apiece for the UNLV men.
