UNLV’s Batyi loses in opener at ITA tourney
UNLV men’s tennis player Tamas Batyi fell in the first round of qualifying Monday at the ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Okla. Batyi lost to Duke’s Jason Tahir 6-1, 7-5 to fall into the consolation draw.
Batyi and Johannes Markel, and fellow Rebels Ace Matias and Bernard Schoeman will play in doubles today.
