ARMON “THE HAMMER” GILLIAM

Career highlights:

■ The 6-foot-9-inch forward/center is seventh with 1,855 points and sixth with 890 rebounds. Only top-10 scorer who played just three seasons.

■ Holds UNLV record with 903 points in 1986-87, when he set season record for field goals with 359.

■ UNLV reached the NCAA Tournament all three seasons (98-11 record) and Final Four in 1986-87.

Currently: In the real estate business in Pittsburgh. Drafted No. 2 overall by the Phoenix Suns and played 13 years in the NBA. Jersey No. 35 was retired by UNLV in 2007.
