Texas Christian 44, UNLV 14 — Each team scored a touchdown in the final quarter as the 12th-ranked Horned Frogs rolled to the Mountain West Conference victory. TCU (9-1, 6-0) limited the Rebels to just 175 yards of total offense. Andy Dalton threw three touchdown passes for the Horned Frogs. David Peeples, a senior from Cheyenne High School, got his first two carries of the season for UNLV (3-6, 0-5) and scored the game’s final touchdown.

Until that point, the only points of the quarter came on a 20-yard field goal by Ross Evans early in the period. At the half, TCU has outgained the Rebels 208 yards to 76.

The Horned Frogs opened up a 14-0 lead with a touchdown pass from Andy Dalton to Justin Watts and a Joseph Turner 3-yard TD run. UNLV managed only 27 yards of offense in the first quarter, but capitalized on a muffed punt by TCU at the 12-yard line.
