Little boy bawls when asked if he’ll miss his mom at school — VIDEO

A child’s first day of preschool isn’t just hard on parents. A little boy in Los Angeles got a real dose of school-time blues when a TV reporter interviewed him about his first day of school jitters.

Andrew Macias almost appeared too cool for school with his blue polo shirt and matching backpack. However, his little tough guy attitude was quickly overcome by a mountain of fear.

The adorable 4-year-old didn’t hesitate to tell the reporter he was excited for his first day of pre-kindergarten.

However, the interview turns from precious to heartbreaking when the reporter asks little Andrew if he will miss his mom.

The little tough guy quickly responds with a confident and delightful “no” followed by smiling and giggling.

Unfortunately, reality sets in for the little boy and the playful laughter swiftly changes to a stream of crocodile tears pouring down his face.

Once the little boy realizes he has to leave his mom, he is deeply overcome with emotion. Andrew buries his tiny face inside his hands and continues to bawl as he walks away from the interview.

After a brief off-camera hug from his mom, Andrew’s fears were completely eased and he was off to his first day of school.
