Century Communities to open new Mountain’s Edge neighborhood

Century Communities is busy planning the opening of its newest southwest Las Vegas community Oct. 31. Sage Canyon at Mountain's Edge is a neighborhood of two-story homes ranging from 2,228 to 2,643 square feet with as many as five bedrooms and up to four baths.
The neighborhood, within walking distance of Nathaniel Jones Park, is near shopping, schools and Mountain's Edge amenities. It is zoned for highly rated schools including Wright Elementary School, Faiss Middle School and Sierra Vista High School.
"We are thrilled to become a part of Mountain's Edge with our first Century Communities neighborhood here," said sales agent Mara Glaser.
Sage Canyon is one of several Century Communities neighborhoods in southwest Las Vegas. The planned community of Rhodes Ranch, Redstone and Westmont neighborhoods are all in the area.
"Southwest Las Vegas is a popular area of town and we are excited to offer another option to our homebuyers," said Sales Manager Hadley Goddard.
As with every Century Communities home in Southern Nevada, Sage Canyon offers standard granite countertops and gourmet kitchen islands, maple cabinetry, cultured marble vanity tops with integral square sinks and paver driveways and walkways.
"Sage Canyon also offers pool-sized home sites, which are popular," Glaser said.
Three floor plans will be available at Century Communities' Sage Canyon with one shown as a model. Each home includes a first-floor den that can be converted to a main floor bed and bath and a second-floor loft that can also be converted to a bedroom. The 2455 and 2643 plans are available with optional courtyards and optional oversized 2½-car garages.

"The first floor of this home includes some modern elements, like a valet and a pocket office with a desk that is in a quiet space between the kitchen and garage but still near the action of the home," Goddard said. "It's a perfect place for the kids to do their homework and the adults to manage schedules and paperwork."
The 2455's oversized kitchen includes a large gourmet cooking island with a dishwasher and double sink. The kitchen also includes a breakfast nook and a walk-in pantry.
"These are great homes for those who want to personalize to suit their tastes," Goddard said. "The first floor of the 2455 alone can have two optional rear patios, a front courtyard, a fourth bathroom in lieu of the front den and a 2½-car garage."
The second floor of the 2455 includes walk-in closets in all bedrooms, a central loft or optional fifth bedroom and the laundry room.
