Harmony expands Daybreak in southeast valley

Harmony Homes is expanding its Daybreak community at Sunrise Highlands with a grand opening set for March 19. The neighborhood is one of the local builder’s most sought-out communities, offering stylish designs in a desirable location for prices starting in the $200,000s.

Ensconced in the foothills of Sunrise Mountain — near the intersection of Sahara Avenue and Hollywood Boulevard — Daybreak is just minutes from a variety of popular outdoor amenities. Golfing aficionados can enjoy the Royal Links and Stallion Mountain golf clubs. Families and outdoor enthusiasts will find easy access to Hollywood Regional Park, the Clark County Wetlands Park and the Sunrise Trailhead, which links to the River Mountains Trail Loop. Daybreak is also known for its views of the Las Vegas skyline.

“Our buyers say they absolutely love taking walks in the neighborhood at dusk and into the evening to enjoy the scenic views,” Harmony Homes President Robb Beville said. “Plus, it’s a great location near schools and services that will suit the needs of first-time buyers, families and empty-nesters.”

Daybreak features three models and three floor plans ranging from 1,739 to 2,275 square feet, starting in the low $200,000s. All three floor plans are two-story designs and come standard with versatile elements, such as lofts and courtyards.

“Daybreak has become especially popular because of the touch of luxury that really sets this community apart, especially in this price range,” Beville said. “Our homes feature sleek granite countertops and attractive paver driveways, which really add to the overall look and value of our homes. Daybreak is one of the few communities in Southern Nevada that has homes of this size available for such great value.”

All three of Daybreak’s floor plans feature spacious kitchens with ample counter and cabinet space, as well as oversized master bedrooms. The floor plan featuring 1,836 square feet was designed with a courtyard at the front. This floor plan also offers an optional fourth bedroom downstairs.

Beville said Daybreak is one of the only new-home developments in the popular and well-established Sunrise Mountain area.

All homes built by Harmony Homes are part of the builder’s five-star energy certification, which includes energy-efficient features, such as radiant barriers to help reduce heat transfer through the roof and attic; Low-E windows help reflect heat away from the glass; vinyl window frames for superior insulation; and 14 SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Rating) heating, ventilation and cooling systems that hold the government-recommended 13 rating and use less energy per unit. The homes come standard with tankless water heaters, which improve energy efficiency and typically last longer than conventional water heaters.

Harmony Homes was included in the 2013 Builder 100 recognizing the nation’s best-selling homebuilders. The builder has sold more than 2,100 homes since it was formed in Southern Nevada in late 2008. It offers five neighborhoods throughout Southern Nevada, with one- and two-story homes priced from the low $200,000s and ranging from 1,801 to 2,973 square feet. Harmony Homes is also offering a new community in Corona, Calif.
