The Ogden offers access to dining, attractions and entertainment

For residents of The Ogden in downtown Las Vegas, living in the heart of the city comes standard with a built-in lifestyle created by all the city offers. This 21-story iconic high-rise is just steps from popular restaurants and bars on Fremont East, a few blocks from one-of-a-kind museums like The Mob and Neon Museums; across the street from Fremont Street Experience with a full lineup of concerts, outdoor events and bustling hotel-casinos; and only a few miles from The Smith Center for the Performing Arts and the Las Vegas Premium Outlets North.

“Proximity to many of the city’s best restaurants, historic attractions and world-class entertainment creates a vibrancy that can’t be duplicated in the suburbs,” said Stephanie Reese, director of sales for The Ogden.

“The list goes on,” said Reese of other downtown attractions such as the popular bookstore, The Writer’s Block, the 18b Las Vegas Arts District that houses scores of interesting and up-and-coming artists and even major events like the area’s monthly First Fridays and Life Is Beautiful, which is set for Sept. 23-25 this year. “Downtown, there is never any shortage of things to do, places to go and people to meet.”

Without stepping foot outside of The Ogden, residents can have coffee and breakfast at Rachel’s Kitchen, coordinate their dry cleaning pickup and home deliveries with round-the-clock concierge attendants, soak in some rays on the building’s rooftop deck overlooking downtown and the Strip, enjoy drinks and dinner at Itsy Bitsy: Ramen &Whisky, a music- and art-infused restaurant on The Ogden’s first floor, and have their hair cut and colored at Bombshell, a full-service hair and waxing salon. And according to Reese, that’s all without leaving the building.

Situated within the heart of one the country’s most exciting cities that has undergone significant revitalization in recent years, The Ogden is proof positive of the old adage — location is everything, according to Uri Vaknin, a partner at KRE Capital LLC, whose company, in partnership with Dune Real Estate Partners, purchased The Ogden in 2013 as DK Las Vegas.

“Downtown’s remarkable period of redevelopment over the past few years, coupled with the birth of the Fremont East Entertainment District that began in 2007, ongoing evolution of 18b the Las Vegas Arts District and an outcropping of new boutiques and eateries, has fueled an energy and vitality of the area that is hard to contain,” Vaknin said.
