Detectives are investigating an armored truck robbery Friday afternoon in the southern valley, Las Vegas police said.

Police responded about 1:15 p.m. to outside of a bank on the 400 block of East Windmill Lane, near Bermuda Road, Metropolitan Police Department said. A person wearing a ski mask had a gun and demanded money from people in an armored truck outside the bank.
