Police ask for help solving 2015 shooting near Las Vegas Strip

Updated September 19, 2017 - 7:43 pm

Las Vegas police are asking for the public’s help in identifying two men involved in a shooting near the Strip two years ago.

A man and woman were walking east on Tropicana Avenue near Duke Ellington Way in the early morning hours of Sept. 16, 2015, when an argument broke out between them and two other men. One of the men pulled out a gun and shot at the man and woman.

The woman was left with “severe permanent injuries” after she was shot, police said in a news release Tuesday. Police also released surveillance video that shows the shooting and two men running from the scene. The video then shows a silver vehicle leaving the area.

Anyone with information may call the Metropolitan Police Department’s criminal intelligence section at 702-828-9851 or Crime Stoppers at 702-925-5555.
