Woman wounded in shooting near downtown Las Vegas

Las Vegas police are investigating a shooting that took place Tuesday night near downtown Las Vegas.
Metropolitan Police Lt. David Gordon said a woman walked into University Medical Center with a gunshot wound. The woman told police she was shot near H Street and Owens Avenue.
Patrol cars gathered in front of an apartment complex near the intersection early Wednesday.
Gordon said the woman’s injury was not life-threatening, and no one is in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
