These 5 friends have gone to every single Super Bowl — VIDEO

This year's Super Bowl is a milestone for the big game — it's number 50  and believe it or not, there are people out there who have been to every single one of the big games.

Specifically, five friends who have attended each one together.

These five friends call themselves the Super Bowl Five and they're headed to Santa Clara, California, to attend number 50 together this weekend.

Sylvan Schefler, Lew Rappaport, Al Schragis, Larry McDonald and Harvey Rothenberg started their tradition in 1967 when the Super Bowl wasn't even known as the Super Bowl, but rather the AFL-NFL World Championship Game.

That game, between the Green Bay Packers and the Kansas City Chiefs at Los Angeles Coliseum, is now known as Super Bowl I.

And the amount of fun the Super Bowl Five had at Super Bowl I made them want to attend the next year's game  and it hasn't stopped since.

"We're devoted to each other, and we're devoted to the Super Bowl," Rothenberg told the Today show on NBC on Friday.
