All property left after Las Vegas shooting can now be claimed

All personal belongings left behind at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival after the mass shooting on Oct. 1 are available for pickup, Clark County officials announced Thursday.

People can retrieve items at the Family Assistance Center, located in the south hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, 3150 Paradise Road. The assistance center is open between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m.

The retrieval process is being managed by the FBI’s victim services division.

The FBI is asking that people who left phones behind send a text message with their name and contact information to the devices. The FBI is charging phones and will call owners to arrange pickup.

Those who have since left Las Vegas can fill out a questionnaire on the FBI’s website to recover abandoned items.
