Police looking for woman suspected in south Las Vegas robbery

Las Vegas police are asking for the public’s help in finding a woman after a south valley robbery.

Metro responded about 12:15 a.m. Oct. 8 to a convenience store on the 20 block of Silverado Ranch and Las Vegas boulevards. A woman showed a handgun to a clerk and demanded cash from the register, a Metro release said. The clerk gave her money and she left.

Police described her as a black woman between 30 and 40 years old, weighing between 250 and 300 pounds. She was last seen wearing baggy, brown shorts and a black sweatshirt that said, “Trust Me, I’m a Doctor.”

Metro urged anybody with information about the robbery to call detectives at 702-828-3591 or 702-385-5555 to remain anonymous.
