Armed robber takes cash from northeast Las Vegas gas station

Las Vegas police are searching for a suspect and vehicle Tuesday morning after an armed robbery in the northeast valley.

Police responded about 3:30 a.m. Tuesday to reports of a robbery at a Sinclair gasoline station, 3538 N. Lamb Blvd., near Las Vegas Boulevard North, according to Metropolitan Police Lt. CJ Jenkins.

Jenkins said the robber entered the gas station with a semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from the clerk. After the clerk handed the money over, the robber fled in a newer model two-door Cadillac with no license plates.

No one was injured during the robbery.
