The Animal Foundation took in a whole lot of pups overnight. 164 Pomeranians came to the shelter after police found the animals in a box truck in Sandy Valley. The woman who drove the truck was reportedly breeding the dogs in her backyard in San Bernadino and was tipped off that her property would be searched. Officials say there were three to five dogs per cage and that the cages were stacked inside the truck. The dogs will be medically evaluated and groomed over the next few days. Officials say sometime in the next several weeks, the Pomeranians will be cleared for adoption.
