Light showers expected this week in the Las Vegas Valley

The National Weather Services expects some light showers through midweek in the Las Vegas Valley.

The possibility for showers will kick off Monday with a 20 percent chance of rain, which will persist through Wednesday morning. A 10 percent chance of rain will carry on from Wednesday morning through Thursday.

Monday shows a forecast high of 62 degrees with some cloud cover and breezes. Tuesday’s high will dip to 58 degrees with mostly cloudy skies. Clouds will stick around Wednesday when the valley will see a high of 63 degrees.

Skies are expected to start clearing up Thursday and Friday when temperatures for both days are expected to increase to 66 degrees.

Temperatures are expected to rise through the weekend with forecast highs of 68 and 70 on Saturday and Sunday, respectively.

The overnight lows will be in the mid-40s, the weather service said.

The normal high temperature this time of year is 62 degrees.
