Metro investigating officer-involved shooting in east Las Vegas

A man died Friday morning after Las Vegas police shot him during a traffic stop. Officers were on their way to another call when they pulled over a vehicle for reckless driving. Police say the man was holding a gun when he got out of the vehicle, and at some point threw the gun to the ground. As officers told the man to put his hands up and stay away from the weapon, he got to his knees and grabbed it. The man was shot by police after he pointed the gun at officers.
