Mohave County police investigate possible homicide in domestic dispute

The Mohave County sheriff’s office is investigating a possible homicide apparently arising from a domestic violence incident in western Arizona’s Yucca community.

Sherrif’s office spokeswoman Trish Carter said deputies found one male and one female with gunshot wounds Sunday in a Sherry Road home. The sheriff’s office didn’t say whether anyone was killed.

Carter said deputies first responded at 6:50 p.m. to a domestic violence assault report at the residence.

Police arrested a suspect when he exited the house at 9:56 p.m. Officers have withheld names of the people involved as the investigation continues.
