Roundup: Arbor View handles Silverado

Trinity Brandon was 2-for-3 with two triples and two runs Saturday to help host Arbor View’s softball team to a 9-3 win over Silverado.
Taylor Day went 2-for-2 with an RBI, and Kaylea Patridge was 1-for-2 with a triple and two RBIs for the Aggies.
Megan Johnson was 2-for-4 with an RBI for the Skyhawks.
Legacy 15, Clark 0 — At Legacy, Kayla Smith and Jennifer Verdugo combined on a three-inning no-hitter as the Longhorns routed the Chargers.
Angel Ortiz was 3-for-3 with a triple, a double and six RBIs for Legacy.
Madison Ruiz went 2-for-3 with three runs, and Kiani Tung was 2-for-2 with a triple and a double for Legacy. Kaleah Alapati was 1-for-1 with three runs and three RBIs for the Longhorns.
Pahranagat Valley 21, Wells 5 — At Alamo, Morgan Harris was 3-for-4 with a home run, a triple and seven RBIs as the Panthers topped the Leopards in four innings in the Pahranagat Valley Invitational.
Jessica Brede was 3-for-4 with a triple and four RBIs for the Panthers.
Pahranagat Valley 15, White Pine JV 5 — At Alamo, Hannah Castleton went 2-for-2 with a home run, a double and four RBIs, and Rebecca Taylor was 2-for-4 with a home run and three RBIs as the Panthers topped the Bobcats’ junior varsity in the Pahranagat Valley Invitational.
Kaitlin Higbee was 2-for-3 with a triple for Pahranagat Valley.
Kick Off the Season Tournament
Arbor View 11, St. Anthony (Calif.) 6 — At Bishop Gorman, Hannah Hickstein belted a go-ahead solo home run in the fourth inning as the Aggies rallied by the Saints in a five-inning game in the Kick Off the Season Tournament.
Hickstein, Makena Strong and Roxanne Ines all went 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Arbor View, which trailed 6-3 after two innings.
Kylie Sharapan was 3-for-4 with an RBI for the Aggies.
Faith Lutheran 7, Arbor View JV 0 — At Doc Romeo Park, Skye Landaz pitched five innings of scoreless relief to help the Crusaders to the win.
Maggie Whipple went 2-for-2 with two doubles and four RBIs for Faith Lutheran. Ellie Fried was 3-for-3, and Kelsey Howryla was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI for the Crusaders.
Clovis (Calif.) 5, Desert Oasis 3 — At Bishop Gorman, the Cougars used a three-run second inning to down the Diamondbacks.
Jaid Raval went 3-for-3, and Meaghan McInerney was 2-for-3 for Desert Oasis.
Taylorsville (Utah) 11, Bishop Gorman 8 — At Gorman, Mailee Maka went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double and two RBIs as the Warriors downed the Gaels in five innings.
Mia Weckel went 3-for-3 with two doubles and two RBIs for Gorman. Hayley Coreas and Mia Schwartz each added two hits for the Gaels.
Torrance National Tournament
Basic 10, Culver City (Calif.) 9 — At Torrance, California, Mikayla Berg hit a two-run walk-off home run with two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning as the Wolves nipped the Centaurs in the Torrance National Tournament.
Basic rallied for three runs in the bottom of the sixth. The game was called due to a time limit.
Jordyn Ebert singled home Sanoe Helenihi ahead of Berg’s home run.
Berg was 2-for-3 with two homers and four RBIs. Helenihi went 2-for-3 with a home run and three RBIs, and Ebert was 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI.
Torrance (Calif.) 17, Basic 3 — At Torrance, California, the Tartars used a nine-run third inning to down the Wolves in five innings.
Madison Berg was 2-for-3, and Mikayla Berg went 1-for-2 with two RBIs for Basic.
Coronado 10, West Torrance (Calif.) 2 — At Torrance, California, winning pitcher Ashley Ward was 3-for-4 with one RBI to lead the Cougars over the Warriors.
Kaila Angel went 1-for-2 with a double and two RBIs for Coronado.
La Serna (Calif.) 11, Coronado 0 — At Torrance, California, the Lancers blanked the Cougars in five innings.
Paige Sinicki was 2-for-3 for Coronado.
Centennial 7, Bryan (Texas) 0 — At Torrance, California, Deanna Barrera tossed a three-hitter with eight strikeouts and went 1-for-2 with a home run and two RBIs to lead the Bulldogs over the Vikings.
Ryan Rogers was 1-for-3 with a two-run home run, and Samantha Lawrence was 2-for-4 with an RBI for Centennial.
Centennial 14, El Rancho (Calif.) 0 — At Torrance, California, Amanda Sink tossed a four-inning two-hitter and struck out 12 of the 14 batters she faced as the Bulldogs routed the Dons.
Ashlynn Heck went 2-for-3 with a home run, a double and four RBIs, and Barrera was 2-for-3 with a double and three RBIs for Centennial. Abby Hanley was 2-for-4 with a double and three RBIs for the Bulldogs.
St. Joseph (Calif.) 3, Foothill 1 — At Torrance, California, Tehani Seto tossed a six-hitter to lead the Jesters over the Falcons.
Makenzie Andrews was 2-for-3 and scored a run, and Jocelyn Shupp was 2-for-3 for Foothill.
March Warm-Up
Cedar (Utah) 14, Boulder City 5 — At St. George, Utah, Kylie Oldroyd belted a grand slam to help the Redmen top the Eagles in five innings in the March Warm-Up.
Ryann Reese was 2-for-3 with two RBIs for Boulder City.
San Juan (Utah) 17, Boulder City 16 — At St. George, Utah, Amber Nielson’s fielder’s choice grounder to the right side allowed Kaitlynne Perkins to score the winning run as the Broncos edged the Eagles in five innings in the March Warm-Up.
San Juan trailed 13-6 entering the bottom of the third but scored four in the third, two in the fourth and five in the fifth to rally for the win.
Marleena Mills was 3-for-3 with a double and four RBIs, and Reese was 3-for-3 with four runs for Boulder City.
Moapa Valley 9, Cottonwood (Utah) 5 — At St. George, Utah, Makenzie Staheli went 2-for-4 with three RBIs to help the Pirates top the Colts in six innings.
Sierra Staheli went 2-for-4 with a double, and Ellie Cornwall, Emilie Barraza and Sierra Bunker each had two hits for Moapa Valley.
Beaver (Utah) 8, Moapa Valley 7 — At St. George, Utah, the Pirates scored three runs in the bottom of the seventh but fell short against the Beavers in the March Warm-Up.
Bunker was 4-for-4 with three doubles and two RBIs, and Abbie Evans was 3-for-4 with a home run, two doubles and three RBIs for Moapa Valley.
Carbon (Utah) 14, Pahrump Valley 8 — At St. George, Utah, the Dinos used an eight-run third inning to down the Trojans.
Jacquellen Stobbe had two hits, including a two-run home run, and three RBIs, and Allyson Rily had a two-run homer for Pahrump.
Desert Hills (Utah) 7, Pahrump Valley 6 — At St. George, Utah, the Thunder held off a late Pahrump rally to post a six-inning win.
Skyler Lauver homered, and Stobbe and Rily each had a two-run single for the Trojans, who scored twice in the top of the sixth inning.
