Roundup: Valeria Morquecho helps Clark to Bishop Gorman

Valeria Morquecho rushed for two touchdowns on Monday to lead Clark’s flag football team to a 32-18 road victory over Bishop Gorman.

Morquecho had 10 carries for 87 yards, and quarterback Jagayra Gomes had a hand in three TDs for the Chargers, who led 19-12 at the half.

Gomes had 13 carries for 150 yards, including a 5-yard TD run. She also had a 6-yard TD pass to Tsion Gashaw and a 16-yard scoring pass to Jaeda Centeno.

Jovanna Quinones-Teran had seven tackles, including two tackles for loss, to lead the Clark defense.

Del Sol 39, Mojave 0 — At Mojave, Stephanie Tewart passed for 292 yards and three touchdowns to help the Dragons defeat the Rattlers.

Julie Robles had three catches for 116 yards, including a 55-yard touchdown. Janeth Varela hauled in a 70-yard TD pass and finished with three catches for 81 yards.

Taylor Oezer had seven tackles, and Angel Hodges intercepted a pass for Del Sol.
