Roundup: Aaliyah Booker helps Bonanza top Del Sol in Vegas Invitational

Aaliyah Booker made four 3-pointers in the first quarter and finished with 21 points Wednesday to lead Bonanza’s girls basketball team to a 64-16 win over Del Sol in the opening game of the Vegas Invitational at Mountain View.
Booker made six 3-pointers in the game.
Sade Booker added 18 points, all in the final three quarters, and Jazlyn Reynolds scored 10 points for the Bengals.
Markay Merchant and Melissa Burnett each scored eight points for the Dragons.
El Rancho (Calif.) 69, Tech 39 — At Mountain View, Donteylor Maxwell had 25 points to lead the Dons by the Roadrunners in the Vegas Invitational.
Jaylene Oviedo made four 3-pointers in the first quarter and finished with 18 points for El Rancho, which led 36-11 after the first quarter.
Tayler Muwwakkil led Tech with 12 points.
Chadwick School (Calif.) 64, Mountain View 2 — At Mountain View, Alexis Lew scored 18 points to lead the Dolphins by the Saints in the Vegas Invitational.
Chadwick led 34-0 after one quarter and 46-1 at the half.
Serra (Calif.) 69, Legacy 43 — At Bonita Vista, California, the Conquistadors outscored the Longhorns, 36-19 in the second half to pull away for a win in the Gold Crown Holiday Tip-Off.
Sam Greene scored 21 points for Legacy.
Mount Miguel (Calif.) 68, Clark 34 — At San Diego, the Matadors raced to a 41-11 halftime lead and cruised by the Chargers in the So Cal Holiday Prep Classic.
