2018-19 Durango Flag Football Capsule

DURANGO

Head coach: Richard Cuellar, fifth season

2017-18 record: 6-10 (4-6 Southwest/fifth)

Returning letter winners (starters): Eleven (11)

Top players: QB Nayeli Silva-Kahalewai (Sr.), RB Jaden Brown (Sr.), RB Tattiana Baes (Jr.), WR Gabriela Corchado (Jr.)

Outlook: The Trailblazers have not finished higher than fourth in their league in the program’s history.

But with 11 returning starters, that could change this season.

“We hope to make it to playoffs and hopefully win a division banner for the school,” Cuellar said. “We want to continue playing well and stay injury-free.”
