Roundup: Brevin Walter’s big fourth quarter lifts Faith Lutheran to win

Brevin Walter scored 10 of his 22 points in the fourth quarter as Faith Lutheran’s boys basketball team defeated Galena 65-59 in the Wild West Shootout in Reno.

Donavan Jackson added 16 points for Faith Lutheran, which outscored the Grizzlies 24-21 in the fourth quarter.

Jack Cherry led Galena with 19 points.

Rancho 62, Somerset-Losee 45 — At Rancho, James Brown scored 15 points, and Ta’Quawn Dillon-Hodges supplied 11 points and 10 rebounds, as the Rams topped the Lions.

Qion Cangas added 12 points for Rancho, which jumped out to a 21-6 first-quarter lead.

Johnny Bass had 13 points, and Naurese Meno scored 10 to lead Somerset-Losee.

Cheyenne 68, Valley 34 — At Valley, Glenn Taylor and Mike Reed each had 15 points as the Desert Shields rolled past the Vikings.

Damion Bonty added 12 points for Cheyenne.

Christian Franklin led Valley with 10 points.

Bonanza 75, Mountain View 25 — At Mountain View, Mataio Valoaga scored 22 points as the Bengals routed the Saints.

Ian White had 14 points, and Trent Savage added 11 for Bonanza, which got 10 points from Kendell Burrell.

Zackary Wood scored nine points to lead Mountain View.
