Roundup: McKenzi Hall leads Centennial to victory in Northwest match

McKenzi Hall shot 3-under-par 69 at Paiute on Tuesday to share medalist honors and lead Centennial’s girls golf team to victory in Northwest League match.

Hailey Stevenson added a 76 for the Bulldogs, who shot 314 as a team. Faith Lutheran was second with a 328, followed by Palo Verde (364) and Arbor View (402).

Arbor View’s Kyndall Newman also had a share of medalist honors with a 69.

Faith Lutheran’s Morgan Goldstein shot 74.

Coronado wins Southeast match

At Anthem, Victoria Estrada carded a 1-under 71 to easily earn medalist honors and lead Coronado to a win in a Southeast League match.

Crystle Querol added an 80 for the Cougars, who shot 340 as a team. Green Valley was second at 379, followed by Tech (395), Liberty (430) and Basic (448).

Tech’s Cassidy Phelan shot 77.

Las Vegas takes Northeast match

At Stallion Mountain, Delina Amezquita took medalist honors with a 36-over 108 as Las Vegas won a Northeast League match.

Marleah Hundley added a 109 for the Wildcats, who had a team score of 487.

Rancho was second with a 534, and Desert Pines was third with a 566.

Pahrump Valley wins Sunset match

At Las Vegas National, Breanne Nygaard shot 14-over 85 as Pahrump Valley won a Sunset League match.

The Trojans, who also got an 87 from Makalea Petrie, shot 391 and were the only team to post a score.

Western’s Carolyn Lemon was the medalist with an 80.
