Roundup: Chania Scott powers Mojave over Spring Valley

Chania Scott had 16 kills in the Mojave girls volleyball team’s 25-18, 25-15, 18-25, 25-19 home win over Spring Valley on Wednesday.

Aqeelah Muhammad had 28 assists and four aces for the Rattlers, and Madison Lopez had six kills and three aces.

Vaden Mangler had 11 kills and two aces, Emilia Mason had 14 assists and four aces, and Camryn Vereen had five kills and three aces for the Grizzlies.

Faith Lutheran 3, Arbor View 0 — At Arbor View, Hailey Carroll had 15 digs, and Kyrie Lorfing had 17 assists as the Crusaders defeated the Aggies, 26-24, 25-23, 25-17.

Hayley Fredrickson had 11 digs for Faith Lutheran. Anna Massari had six kills and two blocks, and Isabelle Guerrero had six kills for the Crusaders.

Sadae Cintron had 18 assists, 17 digs, three aces and two kills for the Arbor View. Aleiya Cintron had 10 digs, seven kills and three aces for the Aggies, who got six kills from Alina Oranchak.

Rancho 3, Cheyenne 0 — At Cheyenne, Angelina Robles and Angelyne Berkedal each had seven kills to help the Rams to a 25-9, 25-8, 25-18 victory over the Desert Shields.

Jan Duhaylungsod added 18 assists for Rancho.

Arabic McLaurin led Cheyenne with eight assists.

Legacy 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Legacy, Jessica Liu supplied 23 assists, seven aces and five digs in the Longhorns’ 25-14, 25-6, 25-15 sweep of the Jaguars.

Geneyce Jordan had eight aces and seven digs, and Kiara Peterson added seven kills for Legacy.

Charity Hayman had six digs to pace Desert Pines.

Palo Verde 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Canyon Springs, Ashlyn Miller dished out 15 assists to lead the Panthers to a 25-7, 25-18, 25-9 sweep of the Pioneers.

Kiffyn Andreasen and Coco Cram each supplied six kills for Palo Verde, which got four kills from Alex Anderson-Smith.

Jaiden Guy had 11 kills, Ja’Nasia Spand tallied seven digs, and Jeanette Fine notched five aces, four digs and four kills to lead Canyon Springs.

Bonanza 3, Eldorado 0 — At Bonanza, Nicole Degro had 29 assists and seven aces as the Bengals downed the Sundevils, 25-13, 25-11, 25-14.

Megan Kelleher had eight kills, and teammate Melissa Fales added five kills for Bonanza.

Amber Castro paced Eldorado with seven assists.

Shadow Ridge 3, Las Vegas 0 — At Las Vegas High, Alysha Smith had 16 kills, four assists and four blocks as the Mustangs topped the Wildcats, 25-12, 25-21, 25-22.

Makayla Alia added 28 assists, nine digs and four kills, and teammate Taliah Bell had six kills for Shadow Ridge.

Skyla Faught led Las Vegas with eight kills and five digs. Victoria Barney added eight digs and five kills for the Wildcats, who got five digs from Nicole Velez.

SLAM Academy 3, Sky Pointe 0 — At SLAM Academy, Austynn Martinson had six kills and three blocks to lead the Bulls over the Eagles.

Kirsten Scott added 20 assists, three aces and two digs, and teammate Elia Scott had 12 digs and two aces for SLAM Academy.

Amanda Lara added two kills and five aces for the Eagles.
