Roundup: Pair of singles players go 3-0 in Desert Oasis win

Ogi Zekanovic and Eliseo Wao-Udin each went 3-0 in singles for the Desert Oasis boys tennis team Saturday to lead the host Diamondbacks by Tech, 12-6.

Tech’s Chad Saltzman and Nathan Puentespina were 3-0 in doubles.

Basic 12, Spring Valley 6 — At Basic, Andrew Spencer and Shane Spencer went 2-0 in doubles to lead the Wolves over the Grizzlies.

Basic’s Gabriel Koukkala and Carlos Sanchez La Fuente each went 2-0 in singles.

Clark 16, Silverado 2 — At Clark, Samuel Vansomphone went 3-0 in singles as the Chargers routed the Skyhawks.

Clark’s doubles team of Dustin Mader and Andrew Lu went 3-0.

Coronado 18, Durango 0 — At Coronado, Tanner Phillips, Reece Hankins and Rohan Konchada all alternated playing with each other and went 1-0 as each others’ doubles pairs as the Cougars blanked the Trailblazers.
