Roundup: Audrey Wood, Silverado rally past Sierra Vista

Audrey Wood had 17 kills and two aces Wednesday night to lead Silverado’s girls volleyball team to a 15-25, 25-27, 25-18, 25-22, 15-13 victory over visiting Sierra Vista.

Jenna DeSellems added 11 kills, three blocks and two aces for the Skyhawks. Brielen Aquino had 31 assists and 31 digs, and Kristin Canlapan had 27 digs for Silverado.

Leilani Vitale led Sierra Vista with 11 kills, and Mia Buranamontri had 25 digs for the Mountain Lions.

Coronado 3, Foothill 0 — At Foothill, Cassandra Smits-Van Oyen had 37 assists, three aces and six digs as the Cougars defeated the Falcons, 25-20, 25-19, 25-15.

Sasha Bolla had 10 kills and 17 digs for Coronado, and Morenike Ajayi had 10 kills, three assists and nine digs for the Cougars.

Laynee Truscott had three kills, 17 assists and two digs for Foothill. Laynee Truscott added 17 assists, three kills and two digs for the Falcons.

Durango 3, Clark 0 — At Durango, Sierra Leone Sanchez had five aces and nine kills as the Trailblazers beat the Chargers, 25-9, 25-9, 25-5.

Sophia Dominguez had seven aces for Durango.

Coraly Dupree had three kills and two blocks for Clark.

Green Valley 3, Liberty 0 — At Green Valley, Deijah Spaight had nine kills, seven digs and three aces to lead the Gators over the Patriots, 25-18, 25-13, 25-18.

Madison Hutchison-Martinez had 14 assists and nine digs for Green Valley. Julia Whiting-Reed had four kills, four aces and two blocks, and Hailey McKinnis had nine kills for the Gators.

Brooklyn Slater had seven kills and five digs, and Leahi Sefo had five kills for Liberty.

Western 3, Somerset-Losee 0 — At Western, Camille Riggs had six kills, 22 digs and two aces to lead the Warriors to a 25-15, 25-17, 26-24 win over the Lions.

Adrianna Jones and Jennifer Merriweather each added four kills for Western. Jones and Koloa Makaati each had three aces for the Warriors.

Sabrina Wright led Somerset-Losee with four kills and six digs, and teammate Kelly Taylor had five aces and five digs.

Desert Oasis 3, Basic 0 — At Basic, Nathalie Van had four kills, 30 assists, three aces and six digs as the Diamondbacks took down the Wolves, 25-14, 25-16, 25-23.

Kierston-Joy Kuresa had 12 kills, three aces and 10 digs for Desert Oasis, which got 13 kills, seven digs and three aces from Paige Parlanti.

Angelina Dean had nine kills and 18 digs, and Hailey Wray had 12 digs for Basic.

The Meadows 3, Moapa Valley 1 — At The Meadows, Dani Mason had 21 kills and 28 digs to help the Mustangs score a 25-19, 25-19, 22-25, 26-24 win over the Pirates.

Mira Gollard had 37 assists, 12 digs, five kills and one ace for The Meadows, and teammate Vivian Pallares had 13 digs and eight kills.

Abbie Evans had 10 kills for Moapa Valley. Sierra Bunker had nine kills for the Pirates.

Bishop Gorman 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, The Gaels defeated the Grizzlies, 25-11, 26-24, 25-6.

Sanaa Lloyd had three kills and five assists for Spring Valley.
