Outlook: Last year’s Sunrise Region champions return five letter winners but have some holes to fill after losing three of their top five runners to graduation.
Kongsrud (11th in the region meet, 22nd at state), Patricalli (10th in the region, 46th at state) and Christian (15th in the region) all return from a squad that finished fourth in the Class 4A state meet.
“We are a young yet experienced team looking to compete in our new region and to make it back to the state meet as a team,” Beam said.
