Outlook: The Spartans have been among the upper echelon of Southern Nevada teams in recent years and hope to continue that trend this season.

Zacarias (9 goals, 9 assists), Balcazar (9 goals, 2 assists) and Villasenor (5 goals, 4 assists) all are back to guide the offense, and Obradovic returns to help lead the defense.

“With seven returning starters and some new high quality additions, we expect to have a good season,” Bailey said. “As always, our goal is to challenge for a region and state championship.

“We have a capable bunch, and we hope to go far.”
