Roundup: Carlee Giammona scores twice as Palo Verde tops Arbor View

Carlee Giammona scored twice on Tuesday to lead Palo Vere’s girls soccer team to a 2-0 victory over visiting Arbor View in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Lucy Moore and Emily DelaEsprielle each notched an assist for the Panthers. Goalkeeper Sarah Saxe had three saves to earn the shutout.

Green Valley 3, Shadow Ridge 1 — At Green Valley, Devyn Parsons scored on a penalty kick to help the Gators knock off the Mustangs in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Green Valley’s Jazlyn Camacho and Kylie Camp also scored.

Taylore Simmons had Shadow Ridge’s goal.

Sierra Vista 7, Clark 1 — At Desert Oasis, Taylor Puckett had three goals to lead the Mountain Lions to a 60-minute victory over the Chargers in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Alondra Perez, Jasmine Trinidad, Adrienne Hallock and Felipe Amani each added a goal for Sierra Vista.

Luz Juarez-Mera scored for Clark.

Desert Oasis 1, Western 0 — At Desert Oasis, Sydney Rios scored in the first half as the Diamondbacks edged the Warriors in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Samantha Gato made four saves to get the shutout.

Liberty 0, Palo Verde JV 0 — At Palo Verde, the Patriots and the Panthers’ junior varsity played to a scoreless draw in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Josephine Hartl had the shutout for Liberty. Taylor Hendricks and Ella Woolrich split time in goal for Palo Verde’s JV.

Green Valley JV 2, Basic 1 — At Green Valley, Allyson Lieber scored for the Wolves but they fell to the Gators’ junior varsity in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Liberty JV 1, Spring Valley 0 — At Green Valley, the Patriots’ junior varsity edged the Grizzlies in the Las Vegas Kick-Off.

Virgin Valley 1, Pahrump Valley 0 — At Mesquite, Alley Wright scored in the 41st minute on an assist from Raeanna Slack as the Bulldogs edged the Trojans.

Erin Ofori made eight saves to get the shutout.
