Roundup: Josh Sharman fans 11 in Desert Oasis win

Josh Sharman fired a four-hitter with 11 strikeouts on Monday to lead the Desert Oasis baseball team to a 4-1 road win over Clark.

Sharman walked one and hit a batter. Clark’s run was unearned.

Parker Schmidt went 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI for the Diamondbacks. Cole Schaefer was 1-for-2 with an RBI for Desert Oasis.

Maverick Blodgett doubled for Clark, and Bryce Panozzo went the distance and limited Desert Oasis to four hits.

Pahrump Valley 4, Virgin Valley 1 — At Mesquite, Bradda Costa allowed a run on two hits over five innings as the Trojans beat the Bulldogs.

Costa struck out five and walked four. Cyle Havel struck out three in two hitless innings of relief to get the save.

Garrett Lucas went 2-for-3 with a double, a run and three RBIs for Pahrump.

Virgin Valley’s Dillan Fuqua went the distance and allowed just four hits. He struck out nine and walked five.
