Roundup: Late home run helps Boulder City beat Pahrump Valley

Summer Coyle hit a go-ahead three-run homer in the top of the seventh inning to help Boulder City’s softball team to a 3-1 road win over Pahrump Valley on Tuesday afternoon.

Bailey Bennett Jordan threw a four-hitter for the Eagles, who recorded eight hits of their own.

Pahrump Valley scored in the first inning, and got a complete game from Amaya Mendoza.

Del Sol 10, Western 6 — At Western, the Dragons scored four runs in the seventh to break a 6-6 tie and defeat the Warriors.

Angel Jones had three hits, Teresa Chapa doubled twice, and Selena Erickson provided a two-run single for Del Sol.

Edna Madrid-Silva led Western with three hits.

Moapa Valley 16, Cheyenne 11 — At Cheyenne, Abbie Evans hit a go-ahead grand slam in the sixth inning as the Pirates rallied to stun the Desert Shields. Evans finished 2-for-3 with six RBIs.

Lainey Cornwall had a double and two RBIs for Moapa Valley, which took advantage of nine errors by Cheyenne. The Pirates trailed 11-6 before Evans’ blast.

Hannah Tennant went 2-for-3 with three RBIs and and Giovanna Bojorquez had two hits and two RBIs for Cheyenne.

Virgin Valley 17, Mojave 10 — At Mojave, Karyme DeSantiago drove in four runs, and Kari Wakefield went 3-for-6 with a double and three RBIs to guide the Bulldogs past the Rattlers.

Savannah Price and Taylor Barnum added two RBIs apiece for Virgin Valley.

Emilee Mitton had two RBIs for Mojave.

Rancho 10, Eldorado 4 — At Eldorado, Gianna Carosone and Yvette Sanchez homered to help the Rams take down the Sundevils.

MacKenzie Perry went 3-for-4 with two doubles and an RBI for Rancho.

Roshonda Stevens drove in two runs for Eldorado.

Shadow Ridge 5, Cimarron-Memorial 1 — At Shadow Ridge, Alisha Schultz and Mia Voges each doubled and drove in a run, propelling the Mustangs past the Spartans.

Shea Clements tripled and scored a run, and Alyssa Stanley added a triple for Shadow Ridge.

Mya’Liah Bethea went 2-for-3, and Reagan Wadsworth hit a triple for Cimarron.

Desert Oasis 15, Clark 0 — At Desert Oasis, Meghan McInerney was 3-for-3 with a double, a triple and two RBIs to lift the Diamondbacks to a three-inning win against the Chargers.

Makayla Rickard ended the game with a three-run triple for Desert Oasis.

Elizabeth Heiler doubled for Clark.

Basic 8, Green Valley 1 — At Basic, Mikayla Berg homered, doubled and had four RBIs as the Wolves topped the Gators.

Shelby Basso struck out 11 in a complete-game effort for the Wolves.

Green Valley scored its lone run in the top of the sixth.

Centennial 11, Faith Lutheran 1 — At Faith Lutheran, Samantha Lawrence went 3-for-4 with two home runs and five RBIs to propel the Bulldogs over the Crusaders.

Deanna Barrera added three RBIs for Centennial, and Amanda Sink struck out seven over five innings.

Clara Heislen was 2-for-2 with an RBI for Faith Lutheran.

Sierra Vista 16, Bonanza 0 — At Bonanza, Jasmyn Martinez doubled twice, added a single and drove in three runs, and Ryan Watkins homered and singled as the Mountain Lions blew past the Bengals in three innings.

Sierra Vista hit seven doubles, including two from Hola Rosalia Nakayama and one each from Taylore Edwards, Mia Buranamontri, and Jamie Kalaau-Sunia.

Chaparral 15, Sunrise Mountain 7 — At Sunrise Mountain, Losi Brown threw a complete game and had two doubles to power the Cowboys over the Miners.

Losa Laolagi tripled for the Cowboys, and Fernanda Rivas and Ziarryiae Austin each doubled.

Sunrise Mountain’s Kayla Bryan had a triple, and Christabelle Garner had a double.

Durango 12, Spring Valley 0 — At Spring Valley, Alexis Geraldo went 4-for-4 with three doubles and three RBIs to help the Trail Blazers rout the Grizzlies in six innings.

Kaitlin Fazendin had a double and three RBIs for Durango, and Trinity Valentine struck out 11.

Teegan Teal went 2-for-3 for Spring Valley.

Desert Pines 14, Tech 4 — At Desert Pines, Mireyah Ortiz was 3-for-3 with three doubles and three RBIs, to help the Jaguars 10-run the Roadrunners in five innings.

Alejandra Olan added a double, and finished 3-for-4 with two RBIs for Desert Pines, and picked up the win as a pitcher.

Chaney Park went 1-for-3 with an RBI for Tech.

Pahranagat Valley 4, Lincoln County 3 — At Alamo, Jessica Brede’s two-run single in the bottom of the fifth gave the Panthers the win over the Lynx.

Kaitlyn Davis pitched a two-hitter to get the win. All three Lincoln County runs came in the first inning.

Morgan Harris was 2-for-3 with a double, and teammate Madalyn Taylor went 2-for-4 for the Pahranagat Valley.
