Roundup: Liberty edges Green Valley in 5 sets

Martin Velasco dished out 46 assists in Liberty boys volleyball’s 14-25, 25-23, 21-25, 25-17, 15-10 home win over Green Valley on Tuesday.
Atapana Malele-Faaifo had 23 digs, and Seth Monterde added 20 digs for Liberty, which got 13 kills from Troy-Toese Fautanu.
Grayson Boyce had 10 kills, and teammate Matthew Barton supplied seven digs to lead Green Valley.
Coronado 3, Canyon Springs 0 — At Coronado, Randy Cowles had seven aces, five kills and a dig as the Cougars swept the Pioneers, 25-15, 25-7, 25-18.
Ben Bloss had nine kills, three aces and two digs for the Cougars, Jacob Jaramillo had five kills, three aces and a dig, and Alex White had 19 assists and two digs.
Malachi Su’a had 10 assists, two kills, two aces and a block for the Pioneers, Sirron White had two kills, two blocks and an ace, and Sho Hampton had nine assists and a kill.
Foothill 3, Basic 0 — At Foothill, Caleb Stearman recorded 15 assists and eight kills to help the Falcons sweep the Wolves, 25-14, 25-15, 25-21.
Brock Weaver added seven kills and four blocks for Foothill.
Zachary Miller led Basic with 19 assists and five digs, and teammate Trevor Robbins supplied 11 kills.
Silverado 3, Valley 0 — At Valley, Jon Francis supplied 13 digs and seven kills in the Skyhawks’ 25-17, 25-10, 25-15 sweep of the Vikings.
Dillon Marshall had 17 digs, and teammate Tyler Olson added nine kills and five blocks for Silverado.
Trey Harp led Valley with eight digs.
Cimarron-Memorial 3, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, Fred Tito notched eight kills and five aces to power the Spartans to a 25-15, 25-18, 25-21 sweep of the Mountain Lions.
Alex Olson dished out 24 assists, and Johnathan Mika tallied 11 digs for Cimarron.
Frank Hines had five kills and five digs, and Shannen Willaims supplied eight kills to pace Sierra Vista.
Rancho 3, Eldorado 0 — At Rancho, Brennan Berti had 16 kills and seven digs to help the Rams to a 25-10, 25-17, 25-20 win over the Sundevils.
Kenny Oak added 10 kills for Rancho, and Jesus Gonzalez had 22 assists and eight digs.
Anthony Tolentino had four kills for Eldorado.
Mojave 3, Del Sol 0 — At Mojave, Tredall Blanchard-Davis had 10 kills, six aces and nine digs to lead the Rattlers over the Dragons.
Nathaniel Arredondo had 29 assists, three aces and seven digs for the Rattlers, and Daronde McKinney had 10 kills and nine digs.
Alejandro Marin had six kills and an ace for the Dragons, Alan Ramos-Flores had 14 assists and a kill, and David Anderson had three kills.
Sky Pointe 3, Sunrise Mountain 0 — At Sky Pointe, Jaegen Driscoll had 16 kills and five aces to power the Eagles over the Miners.
Carson Driscoll had 27 assists, six kills and two aces for the Eagles, and Jaden MacFarlane had eight kills.
Emerald Acasili had five kills, two digs and a block for the Miners, and Anthony Proby-Jenson added four kills.
Chaparral 3, Desert Pines 0 — At Chaparral, Juan Benitez tallied 11 assists, eight kills and three aces to help the Cowboys sweep the Jaguars 25-13, 25-16, 25-12.
Robert McGregor had 15 assists and six kills for the Cowboys, and Angel Porras had nine kills.
Cheyenne 3, Western 0 — At Western, Brian Orellana notched 17 assists, four kills and three aces as the Desert Shields swept the Warriors, 25-11, 25-18, 25-14.
Jason McCoy had two kills and two assists for Western, and Anthony Walker added seven kills.
