Roundup: Centennial’s Nik Dobar throws perfect game

Starting pitcher Nik Dobar threw a perfect game to lift Centennial’s baseball team to an 11-0 home victory over Shadow Ridge in five innings on Friday.

Dobar struck out four and threw 62 pitches.

Austin Kryszczuk was 3-for-3 with a home run, two doubles and three RBIs for Centennial, and Zach Simon was 3-for-3 with a double and two RBIs.

Kian Wilbur was 2-for-2 with a triple and two RBIs for the Bulldogs.

Las Vegas 14, Canyon Springs 2 — At Canyon Springs, Martin Simmons doubled and drove in three runs to lift the Wildcats to a five-inning win over the Pioneers.

Payton Miller also had a double and three RBIs for Las Vegas.

Martin Blake and Luis Osorio-Avila both doubled for Canyon Springs.

Green Valley 9, Silverado 5 — At Silverado, Jake Empey was 3-for-4 with a double, and the Gators scored four in the sixth to break a tie and beat the Skyhawks.

Carter Gehlken and Scott Gruber doubled for the Gators.

Sean Graves tripled for the Skyhawks, and Tyler Paasche hit a double.

Palo Verde 19, Faith Lutheran 8 — At Faith Lutheran, Jaret Godman went 3-for-4 with two home runs and seven RBIs as the Panthers routed the Crusaders.

Josiah Cromwick also hit a solo homer, Bryce Robinson had two triples, E.J. Arnold had two doubles and two RBIs, and Peyton Cole doubled for the Panthers.

Tyler Kim went 2-for-4 with two RBIs for Palo Verde.

Noah Carabajal threw five scoreless innings and struck out seven in relief of John Silcox for the Panthers.

Jeremy Aguirre went 2-for-4 with a double and a RBI to lead the Crusaders.

Rancho 17, Eldorado 4 — At Rancho, Joey Walls had two home runs and eight RBIs as the Rams routed the Sundevils in five innings.

Jimmy Gamboa had two doubles for the Rams, Layton Walls tripled, and R.J. Forbus hit a double.

Ozzy Ojeda, Braedon Carmack and Derrik Buck all doubled for the Sundevils.

Arbor View 13, Legacy 7 — At Legacy, Trey Urban was 3-for-4 with a triple and three RBIs for the Aggies, who held off the Longhorns.

John Edwards was 3-for-3 with three RBIs for Arbor View, and starting pitcher Niles Scafati was 2-for-3 with an RBI.

Fabian Torres was 2-for-4 with a double and an RBI for Legacy.

Coronado 11, Basic 1 — At Coronado, Boston Mabeus allowed one run on one hit and struck out 10 over four innings as the Cougars downed the Wolves in five innings.

Joey Calvert went 3-for-4 with an inside-the-park home run to lead the Cougars at the plate.

Kyle Hall hit a two-run homer, Ethan Stephens doubled and drove in a run, and Mabeus tripled with an RBI for the Cougars, who scored six runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to end the game.

Cimarron-Memorial 4, Foothill 1 — At Foothill, Derek Decolati threw a complete game for the Falcons, allowing six hits and no walks in a win over the Falcons.

Lasith Narasinghe had two RBIs for Cimarron-Memorial, and Andrew Johnson added a sacrifice fly.

Evan Ringler was 2-for-3 with an RBI for Foothill.

Virgin Valley 5, Tech 3 — At Tech, Logan Felix tripled and scored to help the Bulldogs hold off the Roadrunners.

Aiden Woods was 2-for-3 for the Bulldogs.

Andre Neverez had two RBIs for the Roadrunners.

Chaparral 10, Del Sol 0 — At Chaparral, Rodney Elosegui homered and had five RBIs as the Cowboys took down the Dragons in five innings.

Antonio Vara pitched a shutout for the Cowboys and doubled and scored twice.

Talon Greene doubled and scored three times for the Cowboys, and Robert O’Connor had three RBIs.

Liberty 20, Valley 1 — At Valley, Kaeden Camat-Toki hit two doubles, drew two walks, and had an RBI as the Patriots rolled past the Vikings.

Patriots’ Tyler Williamson also hit a triple and Jack Hale went 1-for-2 with four runs scored and an RBI.

Boulder City 4, Moapa Valley 1 — At Overton, Rhett Armstrong went the distance to lead the Eagles over the Pirates.

D.J. Reese and Chafton Temple doubled for the Eagles.

Hunter Wrzesinski doubled for the Pirates.

Spring Mountain 5-17, Beatty 14-2 — At Mountain Ridge Park, Nicholas Bond threw a three-inning complete game and doubled as the Golden Eagles salvaged a split in a doubleheader with the Hornets.

Patrick Smith doubled for Spring Mountain.

Armando Gonzalez threw a complete game as the Hornets beat the Golden Eagles in the first game of the doubleheader.

Fabian Perez and Efrain Villanueva doubled for the Hornets.

Indian Springs 2-15, Pahranagat Valley 5-0 — At Indian Springs, Jordan Flamm hit two doubles for the Thunderbirds in a four-inning win against the Panthers in the second game of a doubleheader.

Wrench Perry and Isaiah Jones doubled for the Thunderbirds.

In the first game, Preston Higbee threw six strong innings and Hagen Harris recorded the save to lift the Panthers over the Thunderbirds.

Elyas Jones tripled and doubled for Indian Springs, and Zackary Williams doubled.

Tonopah 16-13, Round Mountain 9-12 — At Tonopah, Braxton Barker drove in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh inning of the nightcap to help the Muckers complete a sweep of the Knights.

Lake Mead 1-14, Needles 6-13 — At Heritage Park, the Eagles scored a run in the bottom of the eighth inning of the nightcap to earn a split with the Mustangs in a doubleheader.

Lincoln County 7-11, Laughlin 5-0 — At Laughlin, the Lynx swept a doubleheader against the Cougars.

The Meadows 13, Calvary Chapel 1 — At Calvary Chapel, the Mustangs took care of the Lions.
