Roundup: Foothill wrangles overtime victory from Arizona school

Marvin Coleman poured in a game-high 26 points to help Foothill’s boys basketball team take down Rancho Solano Prep (Arizona) 86-80 in overtime at the Las Vegas High School Invitational at Coronado on Monday.

Foothill led 62-53 entering the fourth quarter, but Rancho Solano rallied to force the extra period.

Jace Roquemore had 19 points for the Falcons, and Dylan Hushaw scored 18.

Nick Jackson led the Mustangs with 23 points.

Crossroads (Calif.) 80, Coronado 72 — At Coronado, Jaden Hardy led the Cougars wiith 22 points in the their loss to the Roadrunners in the Las Vegas High School Invitational.

Eric Alson had 18 points, and Tyrelle Hunt scored 16 for Coronado, which trailed 41-38 at halftime.

Darrel Houston and Benjamin Terry each had 22 points for Crossroads, which also got contributions from Tamir Saban (14 points), Xade Wharton-Ali (10 points) and Shareef O’Neal (10 points).

Las Vegas 72, Executive Prep (Calif.) 59 — At Coronado, Donovan Joyner scored 25 points to lead the Wildcats over Executive Prep in the Las Vegas High School Invitational.

Kiaeem Johnson-Gonzaque had 12 points for the Wildcats, and Zach Matlock and Jaylin Headin each scored 10.

Trevon Kiner had 26 points for Executive Prep, and Cameron Denson had 21 points.

Desert Pines 65, Innovations International 40 — At Coronado, Dayshawn Wiley led all scorers with 18 points as the Jaguars blew by the Ambassadors in the Las Vegas High School Invitational.

Donavan Word and Darius Mitchell added 12 points for the Jaguars.

Jordan Allison and Justin Evans each scored 12 for the Ambassadors.

Trinity 71, Centennial 52 — At Coronado, Deon Stroud scored 41 points as the Thunder rolled over the Bulldogs in the Las Vegas High School Invitational.

Trinity led 30-19 at halftime.

Aaryn Anderson scored 11 points for the Bulldogs.

Clark 86, Culver City 52 (Calif.) — At Coronado, James Bridges led three double-figure scorers with 21 points as the Chargers routed the Centaurs in the Las Vegas High School Invitational.

Jalen Hill added 20 points, and Ian Alexander scored 10 for Clark, which outscored Culver City 28-12 in the third quarter to pull away.

Keith Dinwiddie led Culver City with 17 points.

Agoura (Calif.) 54, Green Valley 42 —At Panorama City, California, the Gators fell to the Chargers.
