Roundup: Jordan Ford runs Shadow Ridge past Cimarron

Jordan Ford ran for 203 yards and three touchdowns to help Shadow Ridge’s flag football team knock off host Cimarron-Memorial 39-35 on Tuesday.

Nicole Tripp-Herring threw for 173 yards and three touchdowns for the Mustangs, and Dayvian Diaz had three sacks.

Cimarron’s Tiarra Del Rosario completed 12 of 19 passes for 213 yards, including 150 yards and two TDs to Samantha Silva.

Foothill 19, Silverado 6 — At Foothill, Chloe Collins ran for 65 yards and two touchdowns as the Falcons downed the Skyhawks.

Madisyn McArthur completed 15 of 29 passes for 183 yards, and rushed for 45 yards with a score for Foothill.

Niyah King had seven tackles, and Whitley Brow had two interceptions and caught three passes for 45 yards for Foothill.

Coronado 33, Basic 7 — At Basic, Taylor Burton rushed for 130 yards and a touchdown and caught a touchdown pass to power the Cougars over the Wolves.

Jensen Boman caught seven passes for 103 yards and two touchdowns for the Cougars, and Caitlin Shannon threw for 216 yards and four TDs.

Marissa Owens threw a touchdown pass to Dre’Yahna Carter for the Wolves.

Sunrise Mountain 18, Mojave 12 — At Sunrise Mountain, Hope Humes ran for two scores and caught a 25-yard touchdown pass from Lynn Rodgers to help power the Miners past the Rattlers.

Green Valley 25, Liberty 0 — At Green Valley, Theresa Caruso supplied two rushing touchdowns as the Gators blanked the Patriots.

Lissette Sigala hauled in a 19-yard TD pass from Jennifer Haberstock for Green Valley, which got three interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown by Christina Mayberry.

Palo Verde 32, Arbor View 0 — At Palo Verde, Amber Rafferty had a receiving touchdown and a returned an interception for a touchdown as the Panthers shut out the Aggies.

Betsy Bellinger also had a touchdown catch and an interception for the Panthers.

Cheyenne 45, Western 13 — At Western, the Desert Shields routed the Warriors.

Shydae Elam rushed 130 yards and a touchdown for Western.

Centennial 19, Legacy 0 — At Centennial, the Bulldogs topped the Longhorns.

Legacy had three defenders with interceptions.
