Roundup: C’Aree Stevenson’s 20 points leads Legacy past Palo Verde

C’Aree Stevenson had 20 points and Legacy’s girls basketball team rallied for a 67-62 home win over Palo Verde on Tuesday.

Taeha Pankey added 13 points, Rory Carter had 12 points and five steals, and Samantha Green supplied nine points and 12 rebounds for the Longhorns, who trailed 50-39 after three quarters.

Palo Verde’s Alyssa Maillaro led all scorers with 24 points, and teammate Ariana Davis scored 22. Maya Bega added 12 points for the Panthers.

Valley 52, Bonanza 47 — At Valley, Kiara Brown led all scorers with 19 points as the Vikings took down the Bengals.

Jeuzel Pollins had 18 points for the Vikings, and teammate Lauryn Shockley added 10 points and 13 rebounds.

Ashley Bonner led Bonanza with 15 points, and Kerianne Reilly scored 11 for the Bengals.

Arbor View 61, Shadow Ridge 52 — At Arbor View, Alaysia Reed had a game-high 22 points to lead the Aggies over the Mustangs.

Autumn Westmoreland added 10 points for Arbor View, which outscored Shadow Ridge 33-25 in the second half to pull away.

Caitlyn Covington scored 15 points to lead the Mustangs.

Clark 49, Durango 25 — At Durango, Marieka Dent scored 19 points to lead the Chargers past the Trailblazers.

Haley Daniels supplied seven points, and Adia Williams and Rockelle Ramsey added six points each for Clark, which held Durango to single digits in each quarter.

Dar’Juanah Harris tallied eight points, and Laila Loring scored seven for Durango.

Centennial 75, Cimarron-Memorial 24 — At Cimarron, Eboni Walker scored 15 points as the Bulldogs routed the Spartans.

Addison Melone scored 12 for the Bulldogs, who led 48-17 at halftime.

Amoura Whitney led the Spartans with 11 points.

Basic 56, Desert Pines 33 — At Basic, Mikayla Berg scored 12 points, and Kailey Taylor added 10 points as the Wolves cruised past the Jaguars.

Trisa Butler scored 16 points to lead Desert Pines.

Democracy Prep 56, Lake Mead 47 — At Lake Mead, Sharmayne Finley poured in 23 points to lead the Blue Knights past the Eagles.

Tyanna Drummond added 13 points for Democracy Prep, which led 28-17 at halftime.

Aaliyah Perkins had 15 points, and teammate Josey White scored 12 for Lake Mead.

Calvary Chapel 60, Mountain View 27 — At Mountain View, Tyra Perkins poured in 25 points to lead the Lions to victory over the Saints.

Maddie Davy had 14 points for Calvary Chapel, which led 14-0 after one quarter.

Jordan Spriggs scored 15 points to lead the Saints.

Lincoln County 56, Adelson School 7 — At Adelson School, Hailey Hooge had a game-high 12 points as the Lynx routed the Lions.

Brooklyn Hafen and Kendra Matthews each added eight points for Lincoln County, which led 24-0 after one quarter.

Roni Shain scored six points to pace Adelson School.

Needles 48, Laughlin 17 — At Laughlin, the Mustangs defeated the Cougars.
