Roundup: Cheyenne comes back to beat Las Vegas

Jermaine McCormick had 23 points, Kavon Williams had 20 points, and Cheyenne’s boys basketball team rallied in the fourth quarter for a 69-63 victory over visiting Las Vegas on Wenesday night.

Jaylin Headen scored a game-high 24 points for the Wildcats, who led 48-41 after three quarters.

Ke’Shawn Hall added 10 points for Cheyenne.

Faith Lutheran 76, Arbor View 61 — At Faith Lutheran, Brevin Walter led all scorers with 28 points as the Crusaders knocked off the Aggies.

Faith Lutheran stormed out to a lead, but a 23-point third quarter tied it for Arbor View.

Jaylen Fox scored 24 for the Crusaders, and Dalton Kincaid had 11 points.

Favor Chukwukelu led the Aggies with 18 points. Jarrod Burks scored 13 for the Aggies, and Tyre Williams had 10 points.

Cimarron-Memorial 75, Legacy 62 — At Cimarron, George Tribble scored a game-high 21 points, and Brian Washington had 19 points and 10 rebounds as the Spartans beat the Longhorns.

Marcus Phillips added 12 points for the Spartans.

Centennial 75, Shadow Ridge 59 — At Shadow Ridge, Ishon Hardin scored a game-high 22 points as the Bulldogs rolled past the Mustangs.

Savio Gines-Rivera had 16 points, and Teon Taylor added 11 for Centennial, which drained seven 3-pointers.

Anthony Jaramillo led Shadow Ridge with 12 points, and Chris Gerald had 10 for the Mustangs.

SLAM Academy 59, Spring Mountain 46 — At SLAM Academy, Jalen Cunningham had 25 points as the Bulls beat the Golden Eagles.

Londan Coleman added 16 points for SLAM.

Demariyae Royal led Spring Mountain with 20 points.

Innovations International 71, Indian Springs 9 — At Innovations International, Justin Evans supplied 10 points and 10 rebounds, as the Ambassadors routed the Thunderbirds.

Jose Hernandez added 10 points and five rebounds for Innovations, which got nine points from Myles Penix.

Baker (Calif.) 53, Sandy Valley 43 — At Sandy Valley, the Braves held the Sidewinders scoreless in the first quarter and cruised to a victory.

Brandom Eastham led the Sidewinders with 18 points, Ramiro Solano-Sanchez scored 13, and Justin Frondarina had 10 points.
