Roundup: Aaryn Anderson, Ishon Hardin score 20 to power Centennial

Aaryn Anderson and Ishon Hardin each scored 20 points as Centennial’s boys basketball team held on for a 67-61 win over visiting Palo Verde on Friday.

Savio Gines-Rivera added 15 points for the Bulldogs, which outscored the Panthers 19-13 in the fourth quarter.

Dylan Yoro had 15 points to lead Palo Verde, which led 18-9 in the first quarter. But Centennial outscored the Panthers 22-3 in the second quarter, holding them without a basket until the final 12 seconds of the half.

Daniel Bellinger and Caden Loerwald each scored 10 points for Palo Verde.

Chaparral 67, Silverado 63 — At Chaparral, Jonathan Tendale scored a game-high 30 points, and the Cowboys held off the Skyhawks to secure the victory.

Martell Williams had 20 points for Silverado.

Cairyn Bray and Dejonte Allen had 10 points apiece for Chaparral.

Sunrise Mountain 60, Tech 55 — At Sunrise Mountain, Steven Adeyemi scored 17 points to lift the Miners past the Roadrunners.

Miguel Pena led the Roadrunners with 17 points.

Tyree Hayes had 15 points for Sunrise Mountain, which outscored Tech 25-21 in the fourth quarter.

Coronado 68, Las Vegas 63 — At Coronado, Jaden Hardy scored 19 points to lead the Cougars over the Wildcats.

Cougars’ Tyrelle Hunt also scored 17 points.

Wildcats’ Donovan Joyner led all scorers with 29 points, Kiaeem Johnson-Gonzaque scored 12 points, and Zach Matlock scored 11 points.

Legacy 61, Mira Costa (Calif.) 51 — At Mira Costa, California, Cristian Pitts had 15 points as the Longhorns beat the Mustangs.

D’Eric Marlowe added 14 points, and Chris White scored 12 for Legacy.

Carson Carey led Mira Costa with 16 points.

Desert Pines 54, Green Valley 41 — At Desert Pines, Darnell Washington had 15 points, 17 rebounds, and three steals as the Jaguars defeated the Gators.

Desert Pines’ Dayshawn Wiley scored 14 points, and teammate Donovan Word scored 10 points and had eight rebounds.

Antoine Hines led Green Valley with 16 points.

Faith Lutheran 75, Shadow Ridge 59 — At Faith Lutheran, Jaylen Fox scored 21 points to lead the Crusaders past the Mustangs.

Dalton Kincaid scored 13 points for Faith Lutheran, which outscored the Mustangs 21-12 in the second quarter to take control.

Garin Mcfarlane scored 19 points to lead the Mustangs, and teammate Jacob Schilder added 10 points.

Arbor View 88, Cimarron-Memorial 67 — At Arbor View, the Aggies had five players score in double figures as they defeated the Spartans.

Donovan Yap led Arbor View with 16 points. Favor Chukwukelu and Tyre Williams each scored 15 points, Comillion Smith added 12 points, and Jarrod Burks scored 10 for the Aggies.

George Tribble led Cimarron with 14 points. Brian Washington and Ricky Singleton each scored 12 points, and Noa Winquist added 10 points for the Spartans.

Foothill 89, Rancho 56 — At Rancho, Marvin Coleman scored 35 points to lead the Falcons in a rout of the Rams.

Jace Roquemore scored 15 points, Jared Gonzalez scored 11 points, and Collin Russell added 10 points for Foothill, which connected on 12 3-pointers.

James Brown scored 31 points to lead the Rams.

Lake Mead 63, Laughlin 43 — At Lake Mead, Kaiaokumulani Madela had 22 points as the Eagles rolled past the Cougars.

Joshua Thorell added 11 points for Lake Mead.

Diego Trujillo led Laughlin with 17 points.

Andrew Braaksma and Brandon Nelson each scored 10 for the Cougars.

Lincoln County 71, Calvary Chapel 61 — At Calvary Chapel, Kobe Walker poured in 33 points, including eight 3-pointers, as the Lynx took down the Lions.

Noah Smith added 12 points for the Lynx, and Alex Vincent scored 11.

Elijah Martinez’s 22 points paced the Lions, and Blake Box scored 14 points.

Pahranagat Valley 55, Wells 26 — At Wells, Preston Higbee had 13 points, and the Panthers rolled past the Leopards.

Culen Highbe added nine points for Pahranagat Valley, which outscored Wells 18-4 in the second quarter to take a 29-8 halftime lead.

Kaysen Sorensen led the Leopards with 14 points.

Sandy Valley 77, GV Christian 54 — At Sandy Valley, Ryan Cripe scored 31 points as the Sidewinders beat the Guardians.

Justin Frondarina added 16 points and six rebounds, and Brandon Eastham had 14 points and four steals for Sandy Valley.

Moses Valencia led GV Christian with 14 points. Uriel Gutierrez and Collin Killoran added 13 and 12 points, respectively, for the Guardians.
