Roundup: Naomi Harris, Durango rally to top Palo Verde

Naomi Harris had 26 kills and 10 digs as Durango’s girls volleyball team rallied for a 19-25, 25-18, 8-25, 27-25, 15-6 home victory over Palo Verde on Tuesday.

Jaylin Ellis added 17 kills and 12 digs, and teammate Tehani Faitau had 44 assists, 15 digs and three aces for the Trailblazers.

Sierra Leone Sanchez had 21 digs for Durango.

Aaliah Largusa led Palo Verde with 13 kills. Carli Tanner added 12 kills and 10 digs, and Arien Fafard had nine kills, 35 assists and 13 digs for the Panthers.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Bonanza 1 — At Cimarron, Destiny Garcia had 35 assists and two aces, and Alexandrea Payan added 11 digs as the Spartans beat the Bengals, 25-22, 25-22, 25-27, 25-22.

Natasha Obradovic had 13 kills, seven digs and two aces for Cimarron, Kiara Young had eight kills and four blocks, and Elise Young had seven kills and six digs.

Sydney Evelyn Harner had 18 digs for Bonanza, and Sydney Dunn had 16 assists for the Bengals.

Centennial 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Centennial, Siara Roberts had 31 assists, eight kills and six digs in the Bulldogs’ 25-14, 25-12, 25-10 sweep of the Grizzlies.

Kylie Saunders had 17 digs and eight aces for Centennial. Natalie Starlin added 10 kills and seven digs for the Bulldogs, who got eight kills from Anyese James-Kirkland.

Vaden Mangler had nine digs, and teammate Emma Lily Marple notched eight assists to pace Spring Valley.

Legacy 3, Sierra Vista 0 — At Sierra Vista, Jazmyne Walker had 12 kills and 11 digs, and Kiana Carter added 12 digs and nine kills as the Longhorns topped the Mountain Lions, 25-17, 25-19, 25-22.

Anica Kruyer had seven kills for Sierra Vista, and Mia Buranamontri added four kills for the Mountain Lions.

Faith Lutheran 3, Clark 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Alexi Johnson had 11 digs, and Mary Vancura served eight aces as the Crusaders swept the Chargers, 25-4, 25-6, 25-6.

Ellie Fried and Katie Walo each supplied five kills for Faith Lutheran.

Jennifer Kim led Clark with nine digs. Tsion Gashaw had three assists, and Dejana Chapman had two kills for the Chargers.

Bishop Gorman 3, Arbor View 0 — At Arbor View, Kylie Gibson had nine kills and four aces, and Tommi Stockham added nine kills as the Gaels rolled to a 25-8, 25-14, 25-8 victory over the Aggies.

Alexandra Washington and Ashley Brennan each added five kills, and Angelina Starck had four kills and 14 assists for Gorman.

Shadow Ridge 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Kizzy Rodriguez had nine digs, six kills and five aces as the Mustangs swept the Jaguars, 25-6, 25-11, 25-16.

Autumn Spendlove added 10 assists, three digs and two aces, and Megan Hoadley supplied 13 digs for Shadow Ridge.

Tech 3, Chaparral 0 — At Tech, Makenna Faught had 21 assists, three aces and three digs as the Roadrunners rolled to a 25-13, 25-18, 25-21 victory over the Cowboys.

Cadie Espe added seven kills and four digs, and Kayla Cook had four kills, three aces and five digs for the Roadrunners.

Boulder City 3, Del Sol 0 — At Del Sol, Maggie Roe had 12 kills, 10 assists and five aces to lead the Eagles over the Dragons, 25-22, 25-11, 25-8.

Ava Wright had 14 assists and four aces for Boulder City, and Raegan Herr added four aces for the Eagles.

Moapa Valley 3, Somerset-Sky Pointe 0 — At Overton, Aria Messer had 18 assists in the Pirates’ 25-3, 25-4, 25-13 sweep of the Eagles.

Eden Whitmore had 11 kills, and Dannika Gordon supplied eight kills for Moapa Valley, which got six kills from Shelbi Walker.

Somerset-Losee 3, GV Christian 1 — At Somerset-Losee, Wynter Bellah had seven kills as the Lions defeated the Guardians, 25-18, 23-25, 25-23, 25-19.

Sabrina Wright added 17 assists and nine aces, and Morgan Dowdy had five assists and five aces for Losee.

Big Pine (Calif.) 3, Beatty 0 — At Beatty, the Warriors were 25-7, 25-14, 25-13 winners over the Hornets.
