Roundup: Jazmyne Walker helps Legacy outlast Bonanza

Jazmyne Walker had 14 kills, eight aces and 17 digs Monday to lead the Legacy girls volleyball team to a 25-6, 25-21, 21-25, 25-20 road victory over Bonanza.

Alyssa Fuller had 35 digs, and Kamaile Mendonsa dished out 23 assists for the Longhorns.

Sydney Dunn had 20 assists and three aces for the Bengals. Rachel Murgatroyd added three blocks for Bonanza.

Virgin Valley 3, Tech 1 — At Mesquite, Taylor Barnum had 19 kills and four aces, and Jessica Barnum had 13 kills and 16 digs to power the Bulldogs to a 25-20, 22-25, 25-15, 25-8 win over the Roadrunners.

Calee Clem had 26 assists and four aces for the Bulldogs, and Markell Ludvigson had 23 digs and four aces. Virgin Valley’s Kendyl Bowler had eight kills.

Kayla Cook had six kills and nine digs for the Roadrunners, Makenna Faught had 15 assists and seven digs, and Kaitlyn Harvey had five digs and two aces.

Palo Verde 3, Arbor View 1 — At Arbor View, Carli Tanner had 22 kills and 14 digs to lead the Panthers to a 25-18, 25-16, 24-26, 26-24 victory over the Aggies.

Aaliah Largusa added 11 kills and 15 digs, and Arien Fafard had six kills and 44 assists for Palo Verde.

Mia Sadler added 30 digs for the Panthers.

Shadow Ridge 3, Spring Valley 0 — At Shadow Ridge, Madyson Lousignont had 14 kills and nine digs as the Mustangs rolled past the Grizzlies, 25-10, 25-9, 25-6.

Autumm Spendlove had 10 assists, and Aubrie Robinette had five kills for the Mustangs.

Ivana Parong led the Grizzlies with two kills.

Bishop Gorman 3, Faith Lutheran 0 — At Faith Lutheran, Kylie Gibson had 12 kills to lead the Gaels over the Crusaders, 25-11, 25-16, 25-16.

Gorman’s Angelina Starck had 16 assists, Lilly Hoff had 15 assists, and Sydney Lobato had 14 assists. Tommi Stockham added seven kills and three aces for the Gaels, and teammates Ashley Brennan and Taylor Jefferson added seven and six kills, respectively.

Faith Lutheran’s Alexi Johnson had nine digs, Sydney Washington had four kills and four blocks, and Isabelle Guerrero had four kills.

Durango 3, Desert Oasis 0 — At Durango, Naomi Harris had 15 kills and seven aces to lead the Trailblazers to victory over the Diamondbacks, 25-15, 25-22, 25-14.

Durango’s Tehani Faitau had 25 assists, and teammate Sierra Leone Sanchez had 14 digs.

Desert Oasis’ Laityn Sarna had 14 assists, three aces, and two blocks, and Sophia Parlanti had nine kills for the Diamondbacks.

Cimarron-Memorial 3, Clark 0 — At Cimarron, Natasha Obradovic had nine kills, eight aces and a dig to lead the Spartans to a 25-18, 25-10, 25-16 sweep of the Chargers.

Alexandrea Payan added 10 aces and five digs for Cimarron.

Coraly Dupree had four kills and six digs to lead the Chargers.

Tsion Gashaw had three aces and three digs, and Natalyn Ngo had five digs for Clark.

Centennial 3, Sierra Vista 0 — At Centennial, Emily Anderson had 18 kills and three aces to lead the Bulldogs to a sweep of the Mountain Lions, 25-22, 25-21, 25-14.

Faith Torosian had seven kills and four blocks, Natalie Starlin had eight kills, and Siara Roberts added 27 assists, five aces and two blocks for Centennial.

Zoey Kriethe dished out 13 assists to lead the Mountain Lions.

Moapa Valley 3, Chaparral 0 — At Overton, Eden Whitmore had 10 kills and four aces to lead the Pirates to a victory over the Cowboys, 25-6, 25-12, 25-12.

Aria Messer had 15 assists and four aces, Kessa Evans had seven aces, and Shelbi Walker had five kills and three aces for Moapa Valley.

Cheyenne 3, Liberty Baptist 1 — At Cheyenne, Tia Echols had eight kills and eight aces as the Desert Shields downed the Knights, 19-25, 25-10, 27-25, 25-12.

Leerah Hunt had seven kills and five aces, and Miya Burns added six aces and 21 digs for the Desert Shields.

Jade Halverson had 21 digs, nine kills, 12 assists and two blocks for the Knights. Kelsey Guardiola had eight kills, four assists and 12 digs, and Kiley Guardiola had 24 digs for Liberty Baptist.

Somerset-Sky Pointe 3, Del Sol 2 — At Somerset-Sky Pointe, the Eagles defeated the Dragons, 25-18, 16-25, 25-17, 15-25, 15-6.

Ashanti Dickson led Del Sol with 10 blocks and four kills. Angel Jones added nine kills and 20 digs for the Dragons, and teammate Saleena Quichocho had 30 digs.
